Canterbury Road Champs

The Canterbury "Champions of the Roads" are the grade winners in this Canterbury Road Running Championship event hosted by Athletics Canterbury. Olivia Ritchie was the 2023 women's champion! This Championship event offers registered athletic club runners the opportunity to be selected to represent Canterbury in National Road Championships. This is also the primary DGRS selection event for the Road Relay teams. Entries close Sunday 20th August at 6pm.

1pm Race 1 Walking Grades

  • U12 Boys & Girls 2km

  • U14 Boys & Girls 3km

  • U16, U18 and Open Non-championship Men & Women 5km

  • U20 , Senior and Masters  Men & Women  10km

2pm Race 2

  • U18, U20 Women 5km

  • Masters Women 35-49,  50-64,  65-79  & 80+   5km

  • Non-Championship Open Women 5km

2:30pm Race 3

  • U10 & U12 Boys & Girls  2km

2:50pm Race 4

  • U16 Boys 4km

3:10pm Race 5

  • U14 Boys & Girls 3km

  • U16 Girls 3km

3:30pm Race 6

  • Open & Senior Men 10km

  • Open & Senior Women 10km

  • Masters Men 35-64 10km

  • U20 Men & Masters Men 65-79 7.5 km

  • U18 Men, Masters Men  80+ &  Non- championship Men 5km
